Charlottesville Panera Bread Donates $20K to Baking Memories 4 Kids

Panera Bread at the Barracks Road Shopping Center gave back to the community Monday morning.
The family that owns Panera Bread in Charlottesville presented a $20,000 check to the Baking Memories 4 Kids (BM4K) organization.
The money comes from a percentage of cookie and gift card sales the store collected during the holidays.
BM4K uses the money to send families with chronically-ill children to all of Florida’s amusement parks.
“We have sent a good amount of families from the Virginia area already. This will really send almost four families on this life-changing trip,” said Frank Squeo with BK4M
The family says it plans to expand its donations to the organization by having all 26 of its franchise locations in Virginia and Tennessee take part.
